Foundation welcomes three new directors to board


The ÎçÒ¹av Foundation has welcomed three new directors to its board (L-R) Kathleen Casey, Todd Gregory, and Blake Doyle.

Kathleen Casey

kathleen-casey-150-x-150.jpgKathleen Casey is a true community leader. She comes to the Foundation Board with experience as an MLA and Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of Prince Edward Island. She also served as a Charlottetown City Councillor. Currently, Casey is a board member with Make A Wish Canada, PEI chapter, founding member of 100 Women Who Care PEI and a Lay member of the PEI Law Society Discipline committee. In the past, she has chaired the United Way Fundraising campaign, was a member of the Father’s of Confederation Building Trust, a representative on the Prime Ministers Advisory Committee on Cities and Communities and was elected Vice Chair of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association. Kathleen is a graduate of St. Francis Xavier University.

 

Todd Gregory

todd-gregory-150-x-150.jpgTodd Gregory is a Senior Portfolio Manager at RBC Dominion Securities where he provides the highest level of service and investment advice to his clients by way of Private Investment Management (PIM). He also holds designations as Advanced Investment Advisor Certificate and Chartered Investment Manager (CIM), Certified Investment Manager, Insurance Representative, and Investment Counsellor. Gregory is an active board member with the PEI Table Tennis Association and a past board member with the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada and the PEI Humane Society.

 

Blake Doyle

blake-doyle-150-x-150.jpgBlake Doyle is President of the Confederation Group. An entrepreneur and past president of the Summerside Chamber of Commerce, he owns two primary business in P.E.I. - one providing professional services in immigration, human resources, and consultancy and the other is a property holding company with assets in Summerside, Charlottetown, and Stratford. Doyle is a member of the Canadian Consultancy of Immigration Consultants (RCIC) and a Certified Professional Human Resource (CPHR). He holds an Executive MBA from Saint Mary’s University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from UPEI.

 

Mark Ledwell has been appointed Chair of the ÎçÒ¹av Foundation, and Kent Scales becomes Past Chair after serving four years as Chair. Two directors have completed their terms – Barry Sheen and Ray Keenan. Other directors include Peter McLaughlin (Vice Chair), Lloyd Compton, Dr. Kate Ellis Ghiz, John Horrelt, Barbara E. Smith, K.C., and Alanna Taylor, K.C., and Ex-Officio directors Jo-Ann Campbell-Boutilier (Executive Director), Kati McCarvill (Secretary/Treasurer), and ÎçÒ¹av President, Dr. Alexander (Sandy) MacDonald.
